FML large platforms: ACE(F-Awd) & E3C(Rwd)
I haven't figured out how to pull the mix'n'match trick with the larger sizes so...

The 'larger' car platforms would be developed primarily by-with-for a particular division (like C1 Mazda, EUCD Volvo). Neither Lincoln nor Mercury will exploit the small car market like Ford, so they get that... and
  ACE:
E3C:
Mercury  + MCE Mazda, VCE Volvo variants (& Australia?)
Lincoln-specialty Fords (Mustang &...)  + A3D Australia, J3D Jaguar

The same wheelbases are used for the F-Awd and Rwd vehicles (there seems no reason to make them an inch different just to be different), although the Rwd's, due to less overhang, are about half a size smaller OVL. Can this make any parts-sharing/ cost-saving possible? ...and would it be possible to invent a platform architecture that can do double duty as Fwd & Rwd without incurring insupportable compromises? Is a Rwd setup that allows Awd so different from a Fwd-Awd setup?
